"We’ve officially taken the first steps towards registering Kai’s Art Beats Foundation as a charity — something that feels surreal, emotional and powerful all at once.

This organisation was born from personal loss, but it’s being shaped with purpose, love and community at its core. The paperwork is in motion, the policies are written, and the bank account is nearly open (pray for me — that part is harder than it sounds).

Our aim remains simple: to create creative spaces, relief and opportunities for people who deserve more than what life has handed them — just like Kai wanted. From arts-based grief support for families, to preventative work with young people at risk, to floating pop-ups and (one day) a full community hub of our own — we are building towards something that can change lives in a very real way.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this vision so far — whether you’ve filled out a safeguarding form at 2am, given me pep talks, offered professional input, or simply believed in what I’m trying to build.

We aren’t quite official yet — but we’re on our way."
